Open Positions

HPC Contract / Part-Time

HPC Technical Instructor

Lead hands-on workshops in high-performance computing, covering cluster architecture, job scheduling, parallel programming, and optimization.

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver 1-3 day workshops on HPC topics (Slurm, OpenMPI, cluster administration, performance tuning)
  • Develop hands-on lab exercises and real-world examples
  • Provide technical guidance and answer participant questions
  • Collaborate on curriculum development and workshop improvements
  • Mentor teaching assistants and junior instructors

What We're Looking For:

  • Required: 5+ years hands-on HPC experience (cluster administration, job scheduling, or research computing)
  • Required: Deep knowledge of at least one job scheduler (Slurm, PBS, LSF) and parallel programming (MPI, OpenMP)
  • Required: Strong Linux/Unix systems knowledge
  • Preferred: Previous teaching or training experience
  • Preferred: Experience with cloud HPC (AWS ParallelCluster, Azure CycleCloud, Google Cloud HPC)
  • Bonus: Contributions to HPC open-source projects or publications

Compensation:

$1,500-$2,500 per workshop day, depending on experience. Additional compensation for curriculum development.

AI Contract / Part-Time

AI/ML Technical Instructor

Teach enterprise-focused AI and machine learning workshops, with emphasis on production deployment, LLMs, and practical implementation.

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver workshops on AI topics (prompt engineering, LLMs, MLOps, production AI systems)
  • Create practical lab exercises with real-world datasets and scenarios
  • Guide participants through model deployment and monitoring
  • Stay current with rapidly evolving AI landscape
  • Develop new workshop content based on emerging trends

What We're Looking For:

  • Required: 3+ years production AI/ML experience (deploying models at scale, not just research)
  • Required: Strong Python skills and experience with major frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face)
  • Required: Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering
  • Preferred: MLOps experience (MLflow, Kubeflow, model monitoring)
  • Preferred: Cloud ML platform experience (SageMaker, Vertex AI, Azure ML)
  • Bonus: Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), fine-tuning, or agent frameworks

Compensation:

$1,500-$2,500 per workshop day, depending on experience. Revenue share available for proprietary content.

All Tracks Contract / Part-Time

Technical Teaching Assistant

Support workshop instructors by helping participants with lab exercises, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing one-on-one guidance.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist participants during hands-on lab sessions
  • Troubleshoot setup issues and technical problems
  • Answer questions and provide additional explanations
  • Help maintain cloud infrastructure and lab environments
  • Provide feedback on workshop materials and exercises

What We're Looking For:

  • Required: 2+ years experience in HPC, AI/ML, or related technical field
  • Required: Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Required: Patient, helpful teaching style
  • Preferred: Experience mentoring or teaching others
  • Preferred: Familiarity with multiple operating systems and development environments

Compensation:

$300-$500 per workshop day, depending on experience. Opportunity to transition to lead instructor role.

How to Apply

  1. Submit Your Application

  2. Initial Screening
    We'll review your application within 5 business days. If your experience matches our needs, we'll schedule a 30-minute video call to discuss the role and answer your questions.
  3. Technical Interview
    For instructor positions, you'll give a 15-minute technical presentation on a topic of your choice. We're looking for clarity, depth, and teaching ability—not perfection.
  4. Trial Workshop
    If both sides are interested, you'll co-teach a workshop session with a lead instructor. This lets you experience our environment and ensures it's a good fit.
  5. Welcome Aboard!
    After a successful trial, we'll bring you on as a contract instructor or TA. We handle contracts, infrastructure, and participant logistics—you focus on teaching.
